The Resident Services Coordinator is the face of the community, at the heart of our reputation for extraordinary customer service. Successful Resident Service Coordinators have come from retail, customer service, and hospitality backgrounds.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Communicate with residents in a professional manner, always making resident the priority.
Serve as the communication center providing resident communication daily, weekly, or monthly.
Dedicated to fostering an on-going positive relationship with residents and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure maximum number of lease renewals.
Preparing and processing lease renewal paperwork and improving on the overall resident retention of the property through excellent customer service.
Managing and tracking resident communication regarding upcoming lease renewal through the Renewal Tracker; communicating and working with Property Manager to ensure the highest level of retention
Completing 9 points of contact throughout the resident life cycle to maintain and ensure positive experience
Provide an overview of community information to those inquiries in support of the marketing and sales efforts as well as provide information about the local area.
Assist leasing with answering calls, setting appointments and other duties as requested.
Participate and suggest sales promotions to increase occupancy. Attend educational meetings and seminars when available. Participate in meetings, programs, and seminars relating to property management and laws governing apartments.
Work in conjunction with the team to create and execute resident events.
Assist in creating content for Newsletter.
Process service requests as needed, following through with satisfaction of completion using Servus Connect.
Conduct all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including Fair Housing and other laws pertaining to multi family living.
Adhere to all directives of the Property Manager and Director of Operations of the Management Company.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year experience in a similar role or with related customer service and/or guest services in property management, hospitality or related field.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Office and Outlook with competent general computer skill.
Experience with MRI software highly preferred.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and some evening hours, due to resident events and extended office hours.
