Maintenance Technician

Crocker Park, a Stark Enterprises Property – Westlake, OH

Overview:
We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to join our team at Crocker Park, a mixed-use facility in Westlake Ohio. The maintenance technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and duties to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This person must be a motivated individual, have versatile skills, be a quick learner and have the interpersonal skills to interact with employees and tenants. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

- Complete inspections and minor repairs on equipment to confirm safety and

reliability. Equipment includes elevators, generators, compactors and RTU.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Complete daily work orders in a timely manner and communicate findings to supervisor.

- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, such as automatic flush valves and faucet sensors

in public restrooms.

- Paint common area corridors, hallways and stairwells.

- Maintain the building HVAC equipment and controls.

- Fix potential safety hazards.

- Use boom lift, forklift, and scissor lift to complete various tasks on property.

- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.

- Able to identify roof and parking deck leaks and make minor repairs.

- Respond immediately to emergency situations and Tenant/Customer concerns.

- Install all necessary signage on property.

- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

Skills and Requirements:

- Position requires minimum of high school diploma or equivalent degree such as a GED.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Ability to learn how to operate equipment such as boom lift and forklift.

- Communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.

- 3+ year’s maintenance or related experience.

- Ability to work some weekends and holiday periods to meet the facility needs.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

- Strong technical and mechanical skills to carry out repairs.

- Basic HVAC mechanical and controls knowledge.

- Broad technical knowledge.
